The Pearl Harbor That Didn't Happen
And Other Stories

In part one of this book all the stories are set in Hawai'i and each reveals the Islands at a particular time as the people grew out of the near slavery of the plantation ear and into the rich multicultural society of today.

In part two, the stories span the globe and time revealing a range from the wide eyed refugee Kurdish boy in Istanbul to an Ohio girl shut-in.

The author applies these gems of personal experience and observation of life, to his several novels that you will find elsewhere. Some stories emerge from the Japanese culture and some from the Chinese and Filipino contributions to the ethnic stew that residents are fortunate enough to enjoy... some from years of employment in the Middle East.
